Connect & Commission Your Ajax Hub
Once your SIM is activated and you have registered your site successfully to use our services, you will need to connect and commission your Ajax Hub, given that the Hub and all connected devices are working correctly, to our ARC so that we can start monitoring your system.
Please note that you will need a Hub 2 or Hub 2 Plus in order to use motion cameras, such as the Ajax MotionCam range.
Follow the steps below to finish the setup of your Ajax Hub.

Check Your Hub & Connected Devices
Before connecting and commissioning your system, you should check that all devices are functional and that the Ajax SIM for the Hub is successfully activated.

Disarm the System
The system should be disarmed for the following steps in order to allow for completion of the setup.

Configure Your Monitoring Station Settings
In the Ajax Pro app, select the Hub from the list of your devices and click the ‘Settings‘ icon in the top right.
- Scroll down to Security Companies in the settings and select PureMonitoring Ltd.
- Click Apply
- Navigate in the settings to Monitoring Station. Ensure the protocol is set to SIA-DC-09
- Leave ethernet/cellular options unticked

Configure the Hub for Alarm Restoring
In order for the alarms that we receive to restore correctly on our system, please visit the Hub settings and scroll down to Monitoring Station, select Alarm Restoration to ARC at the bottom and set Send restoration code to When Disarmed.

Configure the Hub for Confirmed Intruder Alarms
For us to correctly receive Confirmed Intruder Alarms, you will need to again visit the settings, scroll down to Service and select Alarm Confirmation. From here, Intrusion Alarm Confirmation and pick which devices you need to include to trigger the alarm.

(OPTIONAL) Configure for Personal Attack Alarms
If we are to be monitoring for Personal Attack Alarms and you require to have the Latitude and Longitude attached, visit the Hub settings, go to Monitoring Station and enable Send Co-Ordinates.

Commission Your System with PureMonitoring
Call us to commission your Ajax system on 02393 870057 (UK Customers) or +353 (0)1 522 2257 (Ireland Customers). You may need to trigger all connected devices that you need us to monitor to ensure they are coming through correctly. We will not need to name them, as the Ajax Cloud will automatically send us details of the devices.
